Over the years, one of the downsides of store-bought, gluten free food is that it can be bland and have no health benefits. So, I have made a list of some of the spices to use in your meals to add some flavour and spice (literally) to your dishes.
1. CINNAMON
Possible health benefits:
Packed with antioxidants- protects body from cell damage
Anti-inflammatory
Help with weight loss
Uses:
Cinnamon is a spice which is usually used in baking, such as in:
Buns
Cakes
Sweet pastries
Crumbles and pies
Cinnamon bark can be used to favour meat, poultry and vegetable stews.

2. PAPRIKA
Possible health benefits:
Reduce inflammatory

Promote healthy vision

Uses:
Paprika has a few different variations: sweet, hot and smoky. Each has a slightly different flavour and therefore have different uses.
Sweet paprika can be be used to season meat, potatoes and eggs
Hot paprika can be used in soups and stews to add a kick.
Smoked paprika can be added to rice, lentil or bean dishes to add some depth.
